The Technology:

We have developed a proprietory Database Web Server that delivers fast search results and fast retreival of stored images (acknowledgements to Richard Vowles). To complement this, we have developed client PC applications that interface to the Casio QV-10 digital camera and allow end-users to easily load their own products with photos onto the Internet.

The first system built using this technology is AutoNet, which allows licenced motor vehicle dealers to not only maintain a visual database of their own cars, but to also send selected cars for advertising to the public on the Internet. They can maintain their cars on the Internet from their own yards, and delete the cars on line once they are sold.

Another system is a general purpose advertising database which most of this site is built on. We have agents throughout New Zealand with our software and Casio cameras who accept paid advertisements for all kinds of products and services and load them directly onto the server. These ads usually contain multiple photos of the products along with full text descriptions, prices and searchable keywords. They are automatically deleted from the database after the advertising period (in monthly increments) has passed.
